As a Producer, Engineer and Educator, Carl Nappa has a career that spans over 25 years. Carl started his career in his hometown of Boston before moving to New York City to engineer at the Hit Factory Recoding Studios. While at the Hit Factory, Carl was able to fine tune his craft by working with legendary Artists, Engineers, and Producers. Carl has worked on 39 Gold, Platinum, Multi-Platinum records and 2 have gone on to be Diamond award winning. Carl’s Engineering, Mixing, or Producing credits on records have totaled over 79 Million in sales. A fateful meeting and collaboration with Artist Nelly, lead to a 10 year working relationship as his personal engineer. That relationship later turned into an opportunity for Carl to create curriculum and work as Executive Director of the now defunct sound engineering music school, Vatterott College ex’treme Institute in Saint Louis. Carl recently started his own recording studio in his new hometown of St. Louis, The Saint Louis Recording Club.

While researching the music of Florence Price, Amy McCabe discovered a manuscript of hers that had never been published. Price's Octet for Brasses and Piano (1930) has been performed several times, but we are happy to share the premiere recording.
Karin Bliznik

Former Principal Trumpet of the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra, Karin Bliznik is a multi Grammy award-winning artist and has been performing music professionally since the age of 23 with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in music from Boston University and Northwestern University respectively. Karin has performed with a wide range of artists covering many genres such as pop artists Stevie Wonder, Kayne West, and the Temptations to world class orchestras including the New York Philharmonic, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and London Philharmonic. She is currently serving as a Governor on the Memphis Chapter
Recording Academy board.
